Did you know?

No experience is necessary* to become a Trobec’s school bus driver—we are happy to provide all the training you need to be safe and confident behind the wheel. * Experience is required for motor coach drivers.

School Bus Drivers

You may be a great Trobec’s school bus driver if you are:

  • A retiree who enjoys kids and wants to stay busy.
  • A stay-at-home parent looking to make some extra income—or even join your child on their school commute each day!
  • Available to work in the mornings and late afternoons, but like to keep your mid-day open.

Motorcoach Drivers

You may be a great Trobec’s motor coach driver if you are:

  • Enjoy driving long distances.
  • Enjoy traveling and are interested in staying in and exploring new cities. 
  • Are a “people person” who would enjoy being an important part of our customers’ special days, such as weddings, bachelor/bachelorette parties, proms, etc.

Diesel Technicians/Mechanics

Trobec's Bus Service is seeking a proven, driven self-starter whom, under general direction, will supervise the scheduling and completion of vehicle repairs to all Company, State, and Federal Requirements. This position includes such duties as parts purchasing, inclement weather duties, facility repairs/upkeep and other relevant duties.



The ideal candidate will work within the framework of the company Maintenance Program, schedule and administer fleet and facility maintenance, assist in troubleshooting problems.

Job Training

We are happy to train applicants with no motor coach or bus driving experience to ensure they meet our rigorous standards of on-the-road safety, knowledge, and customer service. Our dedication to safety is so great, we’ve created a state-of-the-art training program to set each Trobec’s driver up for success. When following our training process, applicants can receive their permit within 5 days and begin their behind-the-wheel training, which takes 14 days to complete with our certified trainers. After completion, the applicant will take their behind-the-wheel road exam. Once the driver has successfully passed their road exam, they are certified and ready to drive!
